Dear All !
Many vendors of Hadfield castings claim that higher % of Mn (18% / 20% as opposed to the conventional 13% / 14% Mn)triggers the work- hardening effect sooner , and castings last longer.
If that is true , could somebody substantiate that statement by indicating what literature (if any)says so ?
Thank you.
