Process Heat Transfer by Serth / Lestina, is a good book. It is more HTRI focused, but has some good sections on heat exchangers in general. It depends on what you want to the heat exchanger to do though!

Heat Transfer Hand Book published by Begell House, Inc

If you are looking for something to purchase rather than fabricate, tube and shell companies often have excellent calculation walk-throughs with coefficients provided for their specific materials. American Industrial comes to mind.

I used to count sand. Now I don't count at all.

Vinothsvk,

The best heat exchanger handbook of all time has to be Heat Exchanger Design Handbook by Kuppan Thulukkanam and I have been referring to this handbook all my years and it is compact and informative.

Hope this helps
