Hand Calc. Against Caesar II Flange Analysis?

Has anyone else done any type of hand calculation against CII's flange analysis program? I do a lot of work with larger diameter flanges made from high yield materials which are designed from MSS SP-44. I started doing some research and found that through ASME Sec VIII Dev I & II you can tie MSS SP-44 to B16.5 and work out the flange allowable stresses. The problem I'm having is that my calculations aren't matching up with Caesar's output, even with all the same input parameters.

I decided to check if it was an issue with larger flanges and different materials, so I ran both sets of calculations with 12" ANSI 300 flange at 100F and 150PSI. I'm using a spiral wound gasket, and I'm getting different Effective Gasket Width Parameters than CII, which shouldn't be the case since those are directly from ASME Sec VIII Div II. There shouldn't be any wiggle room there, yet the seating width that CII calculates is nearly twice that of what I calculate and the Gasket Load Location is also off my 1/8".

I know it's possible my calculations are incorrect, but I've gone through them several times and have another person checking them now, but I feel that CII is doing something different that what the code states.

When you run into a calculation issue such as this, you really need to open an SR and send in your data to Smart Support.

It would have been easy to check what Caesar II is doing if you could get a Report out of Caesar showing the calculation in depth but I do not think you can. You have to assume Caesar is performing the calculations correctly - not a good position to be in from a QA point of view!
