Hi Everyone,
I'm a mechanical engineer. I would like to learn about concrete foundation design in my free time. I'm looking for books with theory and examples of how to design simple foundations. My main goal here is to have an idea how foundations can be designed for equipment (boilers) and pre-eng buildings. We outsource these to a structural engineer, however, in order to calculate cost of foundation for quotations I would like to spend my free time to learn these tasks. What books would you recommend for me?

Gets Nilson's book on Reinforced Concrete

Yes on Nilsson; I am not familiar with the second. The Nilsson book - in its 18 edition - covers all aspects of reinforced concrete.
