Hi All,
I need a urgent help here.
Could anyone please advice me on the below:
1) As per section IX, can a butt welding PQR/WPS be used for hardfacing weld process. The hardfacing is on a valve body.

If you are using ASME Section IX, for hardfacing and not weld repair or build-up a separate procedure for hardfacing is required based on QW-216.
