Hardness and Tackiness Testing of a Polymeric Gel

Hi,

Can anyone give me guidance on a low cost method for testing the hardness and tackiness of a polymeric poloxamer gel? It has the consistency of something like jello.

Elastomeric hardness normally is done with a Shore durometer:

For tack, you might try standards associated with paints and adhesives. ASTM has some - type the work "tack" in the search box here:
