Hi, does anyone know where I can get a solid works model of a harley davidson or other big twin motor. We are trying to design exhaust pipes for it and it would make it a lot easier if I had a solid works model. An ACAD drawing would help some also.

Thanks,
Jeremy

H-D uses Pro/E.

You are not likely to get such a model. It may not even exist. If it did, it most likely is not accurate enough to work from. Your best bet is to measure key points on an actual engine or bike.

The Tick is right. You are after proprietary data - property of HD. If they won't give it to you, you do not have the right to use it - no matter where you get it from. So no-one in their right mind is going to give it to - it's illegal. You will have to measure one and make you own model or use one that someone else has created using the same method. You need to be careful about this sort of thing, it is becoming a real important issue with huge consequences for you and even your customers and vendors.
