I like Etabs better than Robot, because of the speed I can go from analysis to design and backwards without waiting for new environments to open up... However, I noticed some misbehavior in Etabs 19:
1. I have to fight (and often lose) for the right to assign the 'View/Revise Punching Check Overwrites' to a slab to get Etabs to design the punching shear reinforcement. This menu item will remain grayed out most of the times.
2. I lose the snap capability completely when in Standard Graphics mode, but when I am in DirectX graphics mode the design output will be missing when i hover the mouse.
3. Tables output are often plain empty! This is very frustrating as I am preparing excel sheets to deal with Etabs output and prepare design data.
Has anyone came across these shortcomings? Is there is any workaround?
