Hello!
I am not experienced in creating weldment drawings and have been thrown into the fire on this one.

I want to point out that the 4 places mentioned in the tail is calling out the joints circled in red. Do I create a table and label the joints as A, B, C? I have a copy of AWS A3.0M and AWS A2.4 and both don't seem to mention this topic. Maybe I missed it. Any help with handling complex weldment drawings would be greatly appreciated.

It's roughly clear; you don't need TYP if you specify the number of places. In weldment drawings like this I find it very helpful to the welders to provide a trimetric so they can see all 3 dimensions at the same time. I assume, because it isn't shown here, that there is a place that says there are 4 of whatever shape is being welded in place?
