Hi,
I'm currently modelling a composite turbine blade. I'm new to ACP so bare with me.
I started with my 3D model, applied a shell mesh, and now I'm in the process of created the composite lay-up.
For the first iteration of my test I was hoping to model the blade as a solid, however I'm having issues with this. When I try to convert the model into a solid I can only extrude it. Whereas I would like to ideally fill the model (as I can't extrude a 3D shell).
Is there any way to do this? If not is there a way to simulate the blade as if it were a solid?
Thanks,
Harry
