Hello All,

I use NX motion, and it will generate wonderful x-y plots or time-displacement plots, is there a way to copy these plots and put them on my drawings?

Secondly, is there a way to have NX generate a plot based on an equation or table of values, and place the resulting plot on a drawing?

A thrid option is there a way to use gnuplot?

Thanks in advance,

Ron Kenyeri

You can import .jpg, .png., or .tif files into a drawing (in the drafting application Insert -> image...). If you can export your plot in one of those formats it should be no problem.

If you're running Windows 7 you can just use the 'Snipping Tool' to create an image file of the X-Y plot and then use the Insert -> Image... command to add it to the face of your drawing.

As for the table of values/ formula, you might try exporting this into the NX Spreadsheet and then use the charting/graphing tools there. Once you have your 'visual' simply do as suggested above to get a copy of it onto your Drawing.
