I'm looking for a sump pump for a sink in a hazardous (Class 1 Div 1) location. Several manufacturers make submersible pumps that are rated for this, but the ones I've seen are too large for this application. Anyone see any small ones?

Try Zoeller - they have pumps (X6160) down to 1/2 HP for Class 1, Div 1.

PEDARRIN2,

I looked at those. While they would do the job, I was looking for something that wasn't 2' tall, and didn't need a 2' diameter sump. Hoping to find something that will fit under the sink. Since I haven't found anything on the Internet, I knew it was a longshot.

Does it need to be a 'solids' sump pump?
if under a sink and just pumping the sink's waste then the passing sphere size could be quite a bit smaller and then you a just looking for a submersible pump.

dicksewerrat - The entire room (where the sink is located) is Class 1 Division 1. Hence the need for a pump that is rated accordingly.

hydrae - Don't need a solids pump, just a submersible. Still haven't found a small one for this service (Class 1 Div 1).
