Does any body know how to turn off the HD3D Tools permanently. It's just annoying at times, and I don't really use it.

Thanks for the info if there is any.

When you cut multiple object with cut object and when some components don't intersect a certain plate that some other might be it brings up a annoying icon. see picture. so when you see that icon everytime, you have to switch to the HD3D tab and hit deactivate. For people that don't use it there should be a off switch.

When you say "cut object" are you referring to a 'cut & paste' type "cut" or are you referring to actually cutting the model using something like Assembly Cut?

John,

I use the pocket command from my moldwizard toolbar. This was never a issue in 7.5, it seems NX8 has a few bugs that need to be worked out, I have contacted Gtac and Doug Gudorf, for some other major issues that I have experienced, namely the error dialog box not always coming up when it needs to and when that doesn't come up nothing will update, so then you have to shutdown and restart your NX session, I know some people say memory leakage but it was never a problem in any other NX series, it's the software.
