Hi all.
I regularly undertake trenchless crossing design for projects predominantly in the UK however the specifications I reference are not UK specs, most notably; API RP 1102, ASTM F1962, NEN 3650. I also use the Drill Contractors Association (DCA) Technical Guidelines. I have been informed that there are UK / European standards specific to HDD design, however when pushed the person who stated this did not have a reference and I can't find reference to any online. I have seen the EN 16228 series, but this is more related to equipment than design.
I have a series of calculations with assess; pull-stress, downhole pressures, rate of penetration etc. Which I know to be reasonably representative from observations on-site and are compliant with the aforementioned specifications, however I would like to make sure I am complying with UK / European best practise if at all possible.
Thanks in advance for any help you can give on this.
