Heat addition due to pump 1

How much heat a pump can add to the coolant (DM water +Ethylene Glycol 50:50) of maximum flow is 1.94 LPS at a 26-meter head. the pump is a Single-phase multistage centrifugal pump with a motor of 1.5 hp capacity and 50% pump efficiency.

Ultimately in a closed loop, ALL of the pump energy will turn to heat, either in a sudden jump straight after the pump or as friction losses around the loop.

That pump shaft duty at that efficiency is close to 1kW. So 0.5kWjump after the pump and 0.5kW around the loop.

That equates to about 0.5C rise in each case. Maybe a little more as glycol is lower heat capacity than water. but no more than 1C at most.
