Hello,

I have a heat exchanger, for which I need to recalculate the manifold which is square cross section. For the calculation I must find a norm or standard (ASME, ASHRAE TEMA) to support the calculation memory. Please do you know where I can find this norm or standard?

Let the guessing games begin !!!

1) jj..... It is important to understand what type of HX you have. Is it as big as a house ?... smaller than a mouse ? .... Can you post a picture or scan of a drawing or something ?... I assume that this is the first HX that you have ever been involved in, is that correct

2) jj..... What exactly are you trying to do ?... establish a minimum wall thickness ?

3) jj .....support the calculation memory. ?????? .... No Idea what you mean here ..... Get someone who has a better command of English to help you

4) jj........Please do you know where I can find this norm or standard?.... It is not the policy of these fora to supply codes, standards or norms to anyone who demands these. Tell your MBA boss that he must make an investment and purchase the codes and standards necessary for his staff to do their job. When there is a hole to be dug, an employer supplies the shovels, picks and implements to the employee.

Alright, lets try it again !!!!
