I don’t know if this is the right place for me to post this message in and I am sorry if it is not. But I want to set up a small heat exchanger shop within my pressure vessel shop and I want to also set up a destructive test laboratory. Anyone knows about what best to purchase and from whom? I need bending machining, and drilling machines for exchangers up to a diameter of 80 inches.

Thank you for your assistance,

For the destructive testing lab, for bending and crushing
you would need a hydraulic jack or an old press, with a fixture capable of supporting the test pieces you want to test. Even a manually operated hydraulic jack may be sufficient, up to a certain thickness.
If you want to test welds, a minimal metallurgical lab should include a rotating disk cut up sectioning machine and some specimen mount facilities, a low power stereo microscope is invaluable.
