Heat Exchanger with Four Tubesheets

I have a customer that is asking for a quote on a exchanger that has four tubesheets with rolled joints. It is almost like they are trying to put the 1st, 2nd and 3rd effect evaps into one unit then use a combination separator on the bottom. Material of construction is 304 both shell and tube. OD of the shell is 22" and tube length of 360" with each shell zone at 120". The integrated separator is 48" OD and 96" SW. Shell side rating is 150 psi 250 F for each zone and tube side is 15 psi/FV at 250F. I am wondering if this type of design is addressed by Section VIII UHX and if not are there any design calculation to address this type of design.

Have seen similar units. UHX can be used for all the tubesheets. Just review the plug-ins and pressures between chambers.

When you quote this.....you will special tube expanders and tube removal equipment. Airetool,Wilson,or Elliot can make these. Watch your alignment, several cold rolled round bars work good.
 
Thanks for the input. How would you model tubes being on both sides of a tubesheet?
 
In a duplex you must consider one side at 0 and the other at MAWP. Just like you test.

Worse case perhaps, but should cover you.
 
jaybone, you might also look at TEMA rules for double tubesheets.
