Heat loss through basement wall via cltd method

does anyone know cltd provisions for basement wall heat loss calculations? in manual j calculation there is separation between basement walls and other walls, but i did not notice anything similar in cltd method.

under basement wall i mean outside wall that is fully or partially in contact with ground.

CLTD is for heat gain. Your problem is simpler. The temp. difference between the basement design temperature and ground temperature is what you use.

unfortunately, it is not that simple. if you are interested in academic part of it, you can find sources which describe in detail how heat transfer to the ground is not linear. on practical level, which interests me more, german norms which have been used all over europe have special procedure for ground walls and floors. j manual also has distinction, and walls to ground make special section. cltd, however does not address it as far as i could find that.
