Hello guys,
I am looking into the fermeation process for the production of ethanol. Its an exothermic reaction. I was just wondering how can I calculate the heat of reation?? By some lab tests or some standard values from book.
Thanks in advance for your input on the issue.
Kind Regards
Zahid Mushtaq

Take a look at the attached paper (para 2.2)

I think you can gather further info if you can get a copy of this
