Heat Pipes

Hey people,

I've got a thermal problem with some equipment on an aircraft. My boss has asked me to investigate the use of heat pipes as a solution.
My memory of thermodynamics is rusty at best so if anyone can recommend any web sites for me to brush up on my theory (especially if they have any information on the workings of a heat pipe) it'd be appreciated.

Very Famous book by Amir Faghri on Heat pipe and technology contain detailed knowledge about various types of heat pipe.

He people anybody have an idea of where to find info on heat pipe used in mining applications. I have about three day to get some thing together for th cleint on the possiblity of using heat pipes in their mines
