Dear All,

This is probably not the best forum to be posting this question on but it is related to tank design so here goes....

I need to do calculations to determine the insulation thickness on a storage tank and need to get the heat transfer coefficient (U). Where can I obtain this information? The specifications are as below.

Insulation thermal conductivity - 0.0505 W/m-K and 0.0764 W/m-K (for shell and roof)
Tank material - Carbon Steel
Product - Crude Oil Viscosity 135 cST @ 20 Deg C, 24 cST @ 60 Deg C.
Wind Speed - 45 m/s

I would like someone to just give me the actual coefficient to be used with these parameters rather than refer me to a set of standards as I do require the information quite urgently.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
