Dear everyone,

I have performed an analysis on a simple cylindrical model in Abaqus in
Coupled Temperature Displacement Step .It has two fixed end with both ends
at fixed temperature say T1. My uniform surface heat flux and boundary
conditions are increased with a top-hat (unit step).

I am interested to get the temperature profile for time dependence of this
model to get the time for the model to reach thermal equilibrium. What I
have tried is i have changed the increment size and divided my step into a
few frames and I have picked a node and plotted the graph.

But what happened is my temperature vs time changes as I change the
increment size ( I did that to verify the time for the system to reach
equilibrium)

If anyone could advise me on how to get the equilibrium time accurately, I
would be very grateful.

Thanks very much!
Khairil
