I need to provide warm up heat to a viscous emulsion in a large tank. I see three methods to be available:
1) Internal heating which is expensive, but thermally efficient. The heater is only for start-up so efficiency is not a big concern.
2) External wrap-around glycol heater. This is less expensive than option 1, but how effective?
3) Circulate hot oil through the tank. This is the cheapest option, but how to prevent short circuiting?
Anyone have any experience or ideas with this?
