What is the appropriate way to enter an encroachment for a boat dock into a HEC-RAS model. The methods i have used decrease the floodway width by the width of the encroachment which seems appropriate. I can show that the boat dock does not affect the base flood elevation and floodway elevation but how do i use the HEC-RAS model to prove the floodway width does not increase due to the encroachment. Thanks.
