Hello all,
I'm looking for the method to extract detailed velocity distributions from the HECRAS output. In detail I would like to extract the whole group of cross sections for the plan, showing the cell by cell average velocity rather than just the lob and rob and channel velocities. I would then like to plot the x,y, velocity and depth values in a TIN.
Does any body know a shortcut to do this? Rather than a large program I would prefer to work through EXCEL or something like that. I ahve used the clipboard but this method is quite cumbersome.
My biggest hurdle is identifying the exact location of the output for cross sectional data in HECRAS for each cross section?
Thanks, Jay
