Greetings,
I am designing an air sparging pilot test in which helium will be used as a tracer gas. The helium will be mixed with air and sparged into a well, and observation and monitor wells will be checked for helium. No SVE will be performed, just monitoring the well casing for helium gas. Can anyone recommend a helium detector to use for this application? I have a source that recommends a Marks Product helium detector (which I imagine refers to the 9821 or 9822 model). I've had trouble finding a local company that has these to rent, plus the article that recommended them is from 2002, and I thought perhaps a newer or more common detector might be available.
