Helix Sweep Problem

Hi All,

I'm running Inventor Pro 2011 and am trying to model some Auger Drill bits, nothing really fancy at this stage. After an hour or so I finally got a sweep going over a Helix curve, the only thing is when I run SWEEP it follows the path OK but instead of going all the way up it goes half way and then drops below the start of the sweep. Any ideas as to what I'm doing wrong

I was getting a weird output with your 3D sketched helix. A COIL command would suffice it just fine without the need for the additional sketch. From that I got it to work just fine.

Had a go using COIL and got the outcome that I wanted, thanks. A bit strange though as to why HELIX should work like it did.
