HELLO,
I Have one general query, i want to know what are the advantages of non rotating stem in globe or gate valves. like, in globe valves most companies emplyed non rotating stem.what are the benefits and in what kind of condition in which non rotating stem preferred?

It tends to mean that the screw or other means of getting vertical motion are outside of the valve pressure envelope and hence more easily serviced without taking the valve apart. Plus the seal is a bit easier if it is vertical up /down motion rather than rotational, but that's probably pretty minor

Non rotating is standard practice.
