When using BSI online, search for BS 7671:2001 - that's the standard number for the latest version of the IEE wiring regs. However, I'm not sure whether BSI do a pdf version.

Instead you could try the online shop at which sells a hyperlinked pdf version on CD-rom, bundled with some guidance notes and Word6 versions of all the forms. The bad news is it costs £350 for a single workstation licence and £1000 for a site-wide licence.

Sorry Jeremyd
But you cannot get a free copy!
I've just ordered 15 copies for my students and tried to find a free source

Typical cost is about £45 and dont forget the IEE On-site guide at about £14 because not all the info is in BS7671

You can get a version on CD-ROM

You may get some useful info from the NICEIC site

Try some of the electrical wholesalers sites for freebees
