I drew a steel connector in a 3d cad program, and exported it as a .sat file.
This connector is a simple top plate 90 degrees to its side plate, with a knife plate protruding out at approx. 94 degrees to the back plate.
When I open in SW, and add bends, it adds bends at the 90 degree intersection, and at the 94 degree intersection, it completely cuts off the part. Is there setting im missing or something. This is the first time I have attempted to add a bend at an angle other than 90.

You could try exporting a simplified version of the part with square corners, and let SW add the bend radii when you first use "Insert-->Sheet Metal-->Bends"

Contact me at the email address in my profile if you would like for me to look at your file.

Thanks for letting me have a look at your model. The problem was that the faces on the problem flange were not quite parallel. It doesn't take much skew to screw things up.

I fixed up the model using "Insert-->Face-->Replace" and I am sending it back to you.

Another possible fix would have been to copy one side's faces using "Insert-->Surface-->Offset" with a zero offset, thicken the sheet, and use that for your sheetmetal body.
