Help Change Part Family setup

Hello,

I'm using UGNX7.5 with excel 2003. I'm making a highly editable part family, but I've run into some trouble because the max number of allowed columns in excel is 256.

Is there anyway to change the UG settings so that attributes of the part family are listed by Row instead of by Column?

ex: The first column contains the list normally occupied by the first row, and the second column contains the values.
