Help doc on Solaris 8

Hello All,
Currently using CATIA V5 R16 on solaris 8. Can locate help file through file manager.
Unable to call help from within CATIA V5. Help -> CATIA V5 Help.
Checked CATDocView variable. It is set to "/usr/DassaultSystemes/B16doc" and language is set to "English".
Select the help option within CATIA, the busy signal appears for 5-10 seconds then dissapears. Nothing happens.
Any help much appreciated.

Tools - Options - General - Help

Clear out the technical document area.
OK

Press F1
if the technical doc area is empty, catia will prompt you to locate it.
Browse and find path up to the B16doc directory.

the best answer is to point the catdocview environment variable at the b16doc directory in the environment file

PeterGuy - you are correct but,in essence that is what I am achieving. I have seen the doc path correct and no help would pop up. In my case I wiped the path out and let Catia reset.

No good.
It works with MS Windows and AIX5.3 but not Solaris 8!!
Any other suggestion ? ?

Scot0511 - what browser and version are you using?

Using the default browser - netscape.
CATIA version is 5 release 16.
Don't tell me you think it is down to the browser being used . . . ! ? !?
Can access the documentation the manual process - file manager -> /usr/DassaultSystemes/B16doc/ . . .
Even created a link on workspace!!

It might be, if you clear the variable out in Tools - options - help, Press F1 and it should prompt you for documentation path. Help will not pop up yet. Press F1 again and help should arrive.
I am at a customer site, I can't install netscape to try.
