I ran a simulation (SOL 103 Real Eigenvalues; Subcase - Normal Modes, Residual Vector Loads) and my goal is to export the stress data of my model into a spreadsheet, but I can't find any information on how to do this online, outside of using an API, which I'm not familiar with. Does anyone have any experience with this kind of thing?

Yes, if you look in your results folder there's a bunch of files with exciting filetypes f04 f06 and so on. These are text format data files. I am assuming you are using the same software as me (hint). One of them will be the results you want.

Of course depending on which software you are using there may be simpler options than parsing enormous data files.

that depends on your output options ... print will give you the results file, .f06. I think the .op2 file also has results (but I've used the .f06).

also depends on what results you asked for ...

You ought to be able to EXPORT s TEXT file that is Comma Separated Values (.csv) and IMPORT into Excel via Data > Get External Data...

I say IMPORT into Excel rather than OPEN using Excel, as most are apt to do the latter and in some cases, Excel will make assumptions about your data that you may not want. The IMPORT feature gives you the opportunity to select appropriate Data Types which can avoid unwelcome changes in data.
