Help - Finding external wetted area of a single boundary surface

Hi,

Need to measure the external surface area of a boundary surface for CFD analysis. Any way of doing this in Solidworks 2010? Aware of methods for the entire model, but not for individual bits. Its a fuselage, screenshot attached, need to find the surface area of the entire fuselage.

Any ideas/help appreciated

Select all the surfaces you are interested in, then select the Measure command. It will report area.

If you look in the Mass Properties dialog box you will see surface area listed in the results.
