I have checked the Siemen's website and can't find it. Anyone know where I might find it.

I wish manufacturers would learn that even though a product has been 'obsoleted' that the material (i.e. IM's) should still be left out on the web.

dpc,

Thanks for the feedback, but I had already found the website and I have tried contacting Siemens - I jsut need the info in a hurry and they are having difficulty finding it as well.

Just hoping someone here might know of a quick way to get it.

There are a couple of Siemens engineers lurking around here - maybe they'll turn up something.

With Siemens (and I am an employee) as with many other large corporations, it depends upon which division you call and which country you live in. Siemens has 8 seperate operating companies that then have something like 50+ separate divisions in 190 countries. there is no way any one person can know everything about everything Siemens.

In this case, that product is handled by the Power Transmission and Distribution (PTD) division (assuming you are in the US). If you called the local office of the Power Distribution and Control (PD&C) division where I work, it isn't likely you would find anyone who knows about it directly. Conversely if you called them and asked for a motor starter, you would not likely find anyone who knows that product line, unless you want a 10,000HP 15kV starter! I know it sounds confusing, but if you call the 1-800-SIEMENS support line, they have a group of specially trained people and can more easily route you through to the proper group.

By the way, I was able to download the manual from that web page. If you couldn't, you may have a cookie setting or something that is preventing you from doing that. If you are still having trouble, click on my signature line and go to my website, send me an email and I'll shoot it over to you tonight when I get home.

Click on the "More Information" on that web page and you should be able to download the manual. I didn't find it the first time I looked at the page either.

dpc,

Thanks! I found it now - not the easiest place for it to be huh?! All, again, thanks for the assistance.

The Siemens website is like a perpetual treasure hunt.
