Hi !
I'm new with Abaqus and now I have to learn how to make the abaqus interact with Fortran. I've already done my program in Fortran, but I dont know how to make both softwares to comunicate. I want abaqus to run some subroutine that i wrote in fortran and use the results. Does abaqus do this ? I need some help with this procces.
Some Examples would be good.

Hi,

Abaqus has user subroutines and utility routines available for user specified code e.g. UMAT for defining a user material in abaqus standard. The interface and requirements for each user subroutine are discussed in Abaqus User Subroutines Reference Manual. Within CAE, you can mention the name of fortran file in Job module during a job definition.

Hope it helps.

Regards

Aamir
