I need so help, I am dimensioning a rather complex part which has a couple dozen holes at non 90 degree angles on a non flat surface. I need to locate these holes in 3D space referencing to some axes that I designated. I've tried dimensioning them using smart dimension but no matter what I do it doesn't work. This is an imported file, and I don't have access to the original file in whatever program it was drawn in, so I can't look at hole wizard or the original sketches. All I want is the ability to find these hole's xyz position with reference to some axes and the angles they make with the different axes.

I am about to pull my hair out.

Any help would be appreciated

In the part file of the dumb solid add a sketch and convert the edges of the holes and any other features you want to dimension. You can also constrain points to features if you wish. Then dimension these in the sketch the way you want them then dump the part file into the drawing and use Insert Model Items.

I have converted all the holes but I still cannot dimension them.
