Hi,

I'm currently modelling some split lines on a plastic component. When I do the reflect line on the solid I get lines that I require but have two problems:

1. I Get loads of lines that I don't need with the reflect line, how do I get rid of the bits I don't want and keep the bits I need. This also mean triming back the line in certain areas to meet with section cuts.

2. Is it possible to extract curves from edges (IE, in Catia V4, >solide>Extract>EDGECRV).

Thanks in Advance.

You need to dissassemble the curves, using this... (highlighted icon - you have to "pull down" the "join" icon to find it)

Extract the edges the same way that you would any curve. (it's the 3rd icon, OR you can also extract boundaries, using the same icon, but "pull it down" for more selections)
