Hi everybody,
I recenty made a machine that is supposed to shred insultion wool various size cuttings into blow wool. Now im having trouble with the blades as the woold keeps wraping aroud the cutting blade which suggests the current setting of the blade is not cutting. Also seems like sucktion into the gaps underneath blades is low as shredded wool keeps floating around the feeder bin. Im thinking maybe curved blade like lawnmowers would help push the air down a bit more and i could get lawnmower blades a lot sharper than these thick industrial agricultural blades i currently have. Underneath the flywheel pictured are 2 ventilator blades between each cuttig blade so 6 in total. the air output is pretty strong so the ventilator blades work quite well. how do i get the product to not get jammed around the cutting blade and to better enter the gap in front of cuting blade. that machine is doind 1480rpm. Any ideas appreciated. Thanks
