HI everyone, I have a few bend table physical card and would like to enter them into a 3D model using Solidworks, the bend tables are in LRA (YBC) format. I understand most of the data on the bend table but it is the rotation that I am having problems on. The rotation angles on this one are in negative degrees. I do not know where to pick up the rotation from.
Is there a free program, converter or calculation that I can use to get this bend table into an XYZ format. Thanks in advance, Carlos.

Point---Length---Rotation---Angle---CLR
1 .______3.5______ 0 ______ 90____ 6
2 ._____2.897_____ 0 ______ 46____ 3
3 ._____4.697____ -91.67 ___ 47 ___ 3
4 ._____1.311____ -138.89 __ 30 ___ 3
5 ._____3.816____ -181.44 __ 27 ___ 3
6 END.__1.880

If you know the calculation, I would think an excel table would do it pretty quickly...

THats the problem I do not know the calculation, the only info I have is the Bend Table its self.

It's cumulative. The rotation is always of the yet unbent part and sets the XZ plane for the next bend from the previous XZ plane. The L portion includes the arc and straight prior to the tangent for the next arc.

You might try calling a company that makes benders or that fabricates bent tubes. The machine controllers often take in data in either format and can produce a chart in either format. The reason they can do this is the LRA is what is used to operate the bender and the XYZ is often used to inspect the finished part.
