our parts will be subject to a sinusoidal vibration over a random vibration background. it is common for helicopter parts.
our customer requires two kinds plots. power spectrum and power spectra density.
power spectrum plot is new to me. i searched on the web. it says that while PSD plot is g^2/Hz over frequency, power spectrum plot is g^2 over frequency. looked at labview page, it does present power spectrum but no sample plots.
any one has one to show me?
thanks.

Search the examples in LabVIW for power spectrum, here is a good example:

C:\Program Files\National Instruments\LabVIEW 2009\examples\measure\maxmpl.llb\Power Spectrum Measurement.vi

dho:

You posted in the NI LabVIEW forum, so I presumed your query was in regards to LabVIEW.
