Appologies if this is the wrong place.

I have been asked to get involved with a project that is not what we do as fabricators, however i am trying to find the following info :

1: what is or where can i get the cost of hiring dockside space in a port in western europe.

2: what are or where can i find the cost for the assistance of the harbour tugs.

3: What or where can i get a cost for temporary moorings

4: what taxes, surcharges, duties etc can i expect to receive / get.

to give a basic outline we will be fabricating a large marine structure that will be moored initially at a port in western europe, upon float off at the port there will be additional erection work to complete then at that point the structure will be towed out to the site offshore.

I really hope someone on here can point me in the right direction

Thanks in advance for any help

Can I suggest you contact the Port Authority for the port you are considering?

They will give you a cost for the berth and the dockside facilities (depending on the size and type of your vessel)

The Port Authorities usually have tugs also, but of not I'm sure they could direct you at someone who would be able to supply them.
