We are waterjetting airfoil profiles into flatplate then rolling. Our pitch is changing between profiles which was to be expected, but I would like to get an exact number. Also, our material appears to be lengthening when we roll it. Anyone know a calculation or have any ideas about either of these situations?

Thanks in advance,

Jason

A pictue or sketch might help explain your situation.

The material being rolled won't change in volume, so when you roll it thinner it has to get longer or wider or both.
