Help with a project

Hi all,
I am new to this forum and hope to learn a lot with your help.

Right now, I'm working on creating a latch assembly, but the problem is that my solidworks skills are extremely rusty at this point. Is there anyone on here who is mechanically-minded and could help me with putting my idea onto solidworks? I humbly am asking for help and any assistance would be much appreciated.

The easiest way to learn is to go through ALL the tutorials in SolidWorks. They are excellent. They even tell you how long each lesson typically takes. Go to Help->Tutorials.
