I was wondering if anyone knew how to put a distributed load on a beam in Mechanica? I've figured out point loads, but can't for the life of me figure how to do a distributed load, nor has google or the search here been any help. Thanks.

You have to create a curve which spans the area of interest (i.e. curve through points choosing two intermediate points) then select edges/curves as the geometry reference in the load definition box.

Hope that helps,

Oh and just an FYI there is a mechanica forum that others may monitor as well which may be a little more appropriate than in the general ProE forum. There is generally a descent feedback there.
