I was just wondering if anyone could help me out with some cutting conditions.
I'm running a 1500watt 6 axis laser.
Using a rotary chuck for tube cutting.

Material: 0.068 wall aluminized tube

Thank you in advance.

You have to work and experiment with the process variables:
(1) traverse speed (mm/S)
(2) peak power (W)
(3) pulse width (mS)
(4) pulse frequency (Hz)

(assuming pulsed laser and not continuous wave)

and to a lesser extent...

(5) beam incident angle

All of the above to meet your production / quality requirements: cycle time & throughput, minimum Heat Affected Zone, kerf size, yadda yadda yadda.

Your optics should be in good shape, if not replace them.
Your laser should be working well, if not have a service technician clean, service, and calibrate it.
