We need to either design or specify a small pump station at the end of a stormwater system for dicharge into a river. We were wondering if there is a company that makes a precast concrete box with the pump system already installed so we can just drop it into place and avoid doing specific design.

There are relatively small parameters our pump needs to have:

Flow: 25,000 gal/min
Head: 25 feet

Water will be treated before entering the pump station. We have already received permission from all regulating parties to discharge into the river, we just have to come up with a specific pumping solution. We have the resources to design a pumping system but would prefer to go with a prefab concrete box system. If anyone has any ideas for a company to contact who may have a product such as this or a specific type of pump to use, your response would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance for your time.

Thank-you for the reply. To answer your question, yes we do have different pump catalog's in the office but would like to avoid doing specific design for this system. I had hoped that there was some sort of pre-manufactured box and pump system out there that could be bought as a one piece system ready for installation.

The folks in New Orleans may have a few they're finished with, although they may want to keep them around for next year. (Or any changes Wilma may make in her projected track -- she's a Category 5 now!)
