Hi All
Can someone please point me to a reliable (and hopefully simple) calculation method for predicting vibration induced noise. For example, I would like to calculate the sound levels below a floor, say 10 inches of PT concrete, with a known excitation from a pump or chiller operating with, and withpout, spring mounts. Of course, we can calculate the difference based on the spring transmissibility curve. How about calculating the actual sound levels for a comparison to codes or other standards?
Thanks!
