Hi All, I am new to ANSYS workbench. I am trying to create a model that have frictional contact. The initial information in contact tool is showing some gray and white colored details.

I don't know what is the meaning of that legends. It shows that the contact is closed and inactive. Can anyone say this is some kind of error or what? Thank you in advance

Insert a contact tool, right click on Initial Information, and generate initial contact results.

That seems normal if a frictional contact's behavior is set as asymmetric. If the behaviour was set symmetric then
both sides should say closed. Important thing is that it says closed in either one so that contact is established.
As said in previous post you can add "status" in contact tool for visualisation.
